Welcome to Acts 2 Ministries!
We want your first visit with us to be an enjoyable one, so here's some helpful information.
Our parking lot is very spacious, so choose whichever spot you like (we do have one marked handicapped parking spot) and use the middle door for your entrance and exit.
Don't be surprised if everyone comes up to shake your hand...we love visitors! There are no assigned seats, so sit in whichever row of chairs you like. One of our friendly greeters will ask you to fill out a visitor card (completely optional, of course) so we can publicly thank you for coming to see us.
PRAYER
We pray in a room close to the sanctuary for 30 minutes before service, so if you arrive a few minutes before service starts, it's not uncommon to hear people praying out loud.
WORSHIP
As Apostolics, we worship and praise exuberantly by singing along, clapping our hands, jumping, and even marching around. Remember those old-fashioned hymnbooks? Grab one from underneath the chair in front of you and sing along!
PREACHING
During the preaching, we "get with the preacher" and interact by vocalizing an "Amen!" or two. (Or three or four...)
OVERALL
We believe that our worship is a direct reflection of our love and appreciation to God, so we express that love in a joyful way!
SUNDAY
Classes for all ages begin at 10:00 am. Someone will be available to guide you to the correct class as soon as you walk in the door. Everyone will gather back in the sanctuary at 11:00 am to prepare for the worship service that begins at 11:15 am.
WEDNESDAY
All ages stay in the sanctuary for a time of worship and the Word.
THURSDAY
Prayer keeps a church strong, and praying with others and for others keeps the members strong. We spend approximately 30 minutes praying together for our world, nation, and community.
At Acts 2 Ministries, there is no dress code! Some people show up in suits, and others wear jeans and t-shirts. We keep the thermostat pretty cool because of all the movement, so you may want to keep that in mind if you don't like cooler temperatures.
Did we miss an important topic? Let us know.
